Why Do I Need Road Respiratory Protection ?

The roadways that we share with automobiles and huge trucks have an invisible debris field of silica dust, concrete dust, asphalt vapors, exhaust fumes, organic debris such as rotting organic matter, leaf fragments, pollen, and other irritants and allergens, and flake-off from automotive catalytic converters of metals such as palladium, rhodium, copper, nickel, cerium, iron, manganese, platinum, and asbestos flake-off from automotive brake linings, as well as local road-construction particulate debris-fields.  All of these get into your lungs and stay there a long time every time you ride outdoors on public roadways unless you use a Personal Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) system!

How Much Does Protection Cost

With our system of connectivity, you can use your full-face existing visor helmet and choose the Personal Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) system of your choice.  PAPR prices vary widely and you can choose the one that suits your need and budget.  Connecting your helmet to a PAPR for use on your daily rides will greatly reduce your long-term exposure to particulate lung hazards and contribute to long-term well-being and health!  The cost of a PairPal clean air system is only a fraction of the cost of medical care.

Why Full-Face Visor Helmets Only ?

Full-face visor helmets are the only helmet design which fully protects the face.  Typical rider sports helmets, such as bicycle and equestrian helmets provide some protection for the skull and brain, but have been proven to be inadequate when rider face is involved in a collision.  Therefore we only support full-face visor helmets and we recommend bicycle riders and equestrian riders and other collision-exposed sport riders to adopt the higher motorcycle full-face visor helmet standard to avoid massive jaw, nose, teeth and other catastrophic facial injuries.
